DEAR DOCTOR SMITH,
I have heard about you and they have told me about your high quialities in medicine.
First of all, i have been with a huge headache for a whole week,
i have been vomiting after i eat something or i just wake up.
I feel very weak and i dont have much fever but the temperature is going up each day. I think that the reason of this symptoms are the stress that i have had all week so i would like your advice to make me feel better and dont have this bad feeling in my body.
Thank you,
Ane and Maider

ASTRONOMERS ESSAY
The teacher told us to do an essay about the astronomers that we have talked about and compare to of them so is what i am doing with the astronomers Nicolaus Copernicus and Claudius Ptolemy.
On the one hand, the theory of Claudius Ptolemy was that the earth was the center of the universe.
He has a geocentric view. Ptolemy synthesized Greek knowledge of the known Universe. His work enabled astronomers to make accurate predictions of planetary positions and solar and lunar eclipses, promoting acceptance of his view of the cosmos in the Byzantine and Islamic worlds and throughout Europe for more than 14000 years.
By using Ptolemys tables, astronomers could accurately predict eclipses and the positions of planets.
Because real visible events in the sky seemed to confirm the truth of Ptolemys views, his ideas were accepted for centuries until thye Polish astronomers, Copernicus, proposed in 1543 that the Sun, rather than the Earth, belonged in the center.
As i mentioned Copernicus, on the other hand, Nicolas Copernicus synthesized observational data to formulate a comprehensive, Sun-centered cosmology, launching modern astronomy and setting off a scientific revolution. He had a heliocentric theory.

Women in science
The teacher has asked us to think about ideas to develop this theme. We think that it would be a good idea to ask people some questions at the school.
What do they think the proportion of women that have studied sciences is and what do they know about any women that has something to do with science or has done any research about science.
With this questionnaire we would know what the society thinks and which the reality is, but to know for sure we would also have to ask in the streets to adults
and see the differences of today and from the past.

FUTURE
In our presentation we are going to talk about future.
Global warming. High carbon dioxide levels increase the air’s temperature. The greenhouse effect is a natural and beneficial process in which the Earth's ozone prevents heat from escaping into the earth atmosphere.
- Almost half of the world's population currently lives in cities, and by 2050 that is projected to increase to 75%.
- Vehicles will be fuel efficent, zero emission and use high tech electronics and sorftware to assist drivers in a variety of ways.
- The consecuence of improving technology is that it causes pollution.
- Human illness. As pollutant levels increase, human exposure to toxins will also increase and the exposure to pollutants is directly linked to cancer and heart disease.
- Economic effects. Because of the people illness the less productive employees and also students absent from school due to illnesses caused by pollution may miss educational opportunitie.
- Extinction. The pollution has an impact on wildlife. Water pollution comes from industrial and agricultural runoff and it presents danger to aquatic life.
- WHAT CAN WE DO
- Go walking instead of using vehicles.
- Use different cars that dont pollute as much.
- Save energy.
- Buy energy -efficient appliances.
- Use environmentally friendly cleaning products.
Here we are going to explain you how you can find out scientific news.
First of all, you can find news in a traditional way, the newspaper talks about science only when important things happen, but if you want, you can also look for a new online and you will see that the newspaper publishes there daily. It is not a common thing to have scientific news in newspapers or in a popular mass media if it is not something very important that you have to know about. You can also learn about science in some magazines, some of which are only dedicated to science, for example, Elhuyar, which is a basque magazine. There are some programs or documentals about science that you get to watch on tv, for istance,
How it's Made which is on the channel Discovery Max.
